This presentation is
for assessment experts who want to take their assessment process to the next level. It is primarily intended
for seasoned assessment veterans, Assessment Committees and those responsible for assessment plans.
Participants will learn how to improve program and or institutional assessment using an approach that is
efficient, effective, and less work for everyone. Topics include:
- Using the best assessment template in the nation (that ties in what you should be measuring, with the measure, with results, with decision making that will improve your programs) in a format that is simple, easy to follow and will promote faculty buy in (and understanding).
- Developing a clear understanding of the difference between good assessment measures and measures that cause HLC assessment accreditation actions.
- Developing a clear understanding of how to tie assessment measures with assessment results by analyzing a variety of real scenarios where there is a measure/results mismatch.
- Learning how to make program improvements based on assessment data.
