Assessment policy and practice are currently being transformed by external forces, but the changes that are likely to occur in the next ten years because of political, social, and technological forces, among others, will ensure that assessment will be in a constantly evolving state for many years to come. This session will look at some of those forces and the changes they are likely to produce.
