We offer courses in traditional fine arts and new media design. At CCA we believe knowledge is enhanced through real life experience. All art and new media classes are taught by qualified, professional and experienced instructors. All members of our fine art faculty hold a Master's degree and all new media design instructors hold a valid CTE certificate for post secondary instruction.

Web Design Certificate!
The Community College of Aurora now offers an 18 credit hour certificate in Web Design. This unique program operates on an accelerated schedule and can be completed in 10 weeks or extended over several terms. The next term starts January 19, 2010.

The AAS degree prepares students for entry into the commercial and artistic field of comic and graphic novel production. Students will develop technical and critical thinking skills related to writing and illustrating contemporary narrative works. Students will learn digital and traditional illustration techniques, as well as important design skills essential for producing effective visual communication.
