Rotary Smokey Hill 2007 Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to make a difference to a student who is working on a degree (major) or certificate. The scholarship is for the amount of $1000.00. It is not based on financial need, but the money must be used for tuition, books or fees at the Community College of Aurora during the Spring 2008 semester.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better.
2. Student must attach an unofficial transcript from CCA.
3. Student must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2008 Semester with at least 9 credit hours at CCA. This scholarship is open to all students at CCA who have successfully completed 9 credit hours at CCA.
4. Student must submit a typed essay (not to exceed one page) discussing: "Why the $1000.00 Scholarship will make a difference."
5. Your essay will be judged on content, style and sentence structure: grammar, punctuation and spelling.
6. Students who have been awarded this scholarship will not be eligible to apply again.

DEADLINES
The application and all attachments must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office, Room CCA A-207 or at the Lowry Campus, Building 903-203 to the Administrative Assistant by 5:00 P.M. on or before November 19th, 2007.
