Supervises: Staff as Assigned
Basic Function:
Internal and external communications; liaison with media, writing press releases and copy for college publications
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining relationship with local and national media, writing press releases, features, profiles, and stories for media outlets, write and distribute newsletter, attend CCA and community functions fostering partnerships and sponsorship with CCA programs, work with CCA departments to generate ideas to promote CCA, editing and proofreading. Writing key messages that resonate with the college’s mission and strategic goals. Ability to collaborate with others in strategic planning and implementation. Support with marketing, web and publication copy. Manage multiple projects. Other duties as assigned to support the Communications Office.
