Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE)

 

Membership: Eleven members appointed by the Governor.

 

 

Coordinating board for all public institutions of higher education in Colorado.

 

State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE)

 

Membership: Nine members appointed by the Governor. Faculty and student nonvoting representatives.

 

Set policy for 13-college, Community College System.

Colorado Community College System Office (CCCS)

 

Membership: President and staff.

Overall governance of the community college system is provided by the CCCS Office regulations and policies. 

 

CCA Advisory Council

 

Membership: Seven members appointed by SBCCOE.

 

Advisory to the college President.

CCA Foundation Board

Membership: Thirty members.

 

Serve as bond holders and landlord for CentreTech Campus; resource development; college advisory.

 

President's Cabinet

Membership: Vice Presidents,   Deans, Executive Director of Grants and Planning.

 

Coordinates and provides direction for institutional planning, resource management, administrative procedures, programs and services, and College operations.

 

Cabinet Advisory Council (CAC)

Membership: representatives of employee groups and specified college departments and student body.

Advisory to the President’s Cabinet for institutional planning, resource management, administrative procedures, programs and services, and College operations.

 

Academic Planning Council

 

Membership: Deans, Department Chairs, faculty, student services representatives.

 

Coordinate and provide decision making and planning for instruction.

 

Assessment Committee

Membership: Faculty from each division, Dean, Vice President, Director of Institutional Research.

Responsible for development, coordination, and implementation of college assessment plan.

 

Faculty Council

Membership: All faculty of the College.

 

Advisory to College Administration

Curriculum Committee

Membership: faculty from each division, one Dean, assistant to the Vice President.

 

Review of Curriculum changes.

 

Professional Development Committee

 

Membership: faculty

Coordinate professional development for faculty and staff.

Student Government Association (SGA)

Membership: SGA Officers, Senators.

Serves as the official voice of the student body and as the connection between the student body, the faculty, and administration.

 

Programmatic Advisory Committees

 

Membership: Representatives from business and industry.

Advise faculty on program outcomes, planning, and development.

Registration Process Team

Membership: One staff member from Admissions, Advising, Bookstore, Business Office, Financial Aid, Lowry Campus, and the Learning Resource Center.

To monitor and provide solutions to  issues surrounding the registration process and build interdepartmental communication with front line staff.
