Colorado community colleges offer strong academic programs as well as Career and Technical Education (CTE).  Many of the 2-year degrees awarded at the colleges are guaranteed to transfer to any public college or university in Colorado.

CCA fulfills a unique roll as one of the Colorado community colleges.  With campuses in Aurora and Denver, there is convenient access for a large service area, with many unique programs offered.  Our Colorado Film School is renowned as one of the best film schools in the country.  Our nursing pathway program is a model program that allows students to attend both CCA and the University of Colorado College of Nursing to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing.  With programs like the Police Academy, Fire Academy, EMS, and the Disaster Management Institute, we provide a number of ways to learn to serve and protect our communities.  And new programs like Solar Energy Technology are frequently introduced to meet tomorrow's job market needs.  Next: learn more about what makes CCA a top community college in Colorado
