Untold Truths in Life

I’ve always been told this about the past

We are doomed to repeat what we don’t learn from

Nothing we see in life will ever last

We go through life every single day

Never seeing ever hearing truth about life

Remember always being told this about the past

Truth is given on the spoken word

But sight is rarely used only seen never heard

Why should it, nothing seen in life ever lasts?

When told the truth we hear not at all

It’s always sight unseen removed in form, forgotten

You always hear that about the past

To the victor go the spoils of war

And with it the right to tell truth as they would have it be

Nothing will ever be truthfully seen, life will never last

Truth is a hidden thing with many meanings
