Well, this is it!  The final draft of e_scape is here at last!
You'll find the winners of the Student Art Showcase &
those the faculty selected as well.  This art alongside the
earlier submissions just goes to show we here at the end
of the world worry about more than keeping our lawns
green and keeping gas in our S.A.V.s.

By the by, if there are any questions, complaints, suggestions,
anything really, please feel free to let me know.

e_scape the moment
e_scape the bills
e_scape the whining pets
e_scape the screaming children

& follow the fingerprint to a temporary autonomous zone
where prose, poetry and visual arts from the community
remind us all we are all only too human

Expect miscellaneous thoughts to appear on this page with
some frequency--not every day necessarily, or every week--
which might explore this community as it continues to probe
sore teeth, sour apples and all else beautiful & ugly

Thanks to all the contributors for making this first issue--
expect new issues three times a year--possible at all!
Thanks to the Humanities & Fine Arts Department @ the
Community College of Aurora for keeping up the good fight
Thanks Wayne
Thanks Patty
Thanks to the reader
& keep e_scaping into the moment of precision
