potential students considering a career in the field of Education and
for "seasoned" educators exploring professional development
opportunities.
Community College of Aurora will provide quality training, resources, and expertise for the preparation and professional development of students, educators and community members who seek skills in various components of the education profession.
The Education Department provides coursework designed to help prepare students to work with children and teens in a variety of educational settings,. The coursework offered at Community College of Aurora is available, not only to those seeking licensure, but also to those already employed in the education field. The student has the opportunity to take coursework at CCA for transfer to a four year institution of higher education to complete teacher licensure requirements from Colorado Department of Education.
