Important Contacts
There are some people you'll want to know how to contact when you need to get something done. Here is how to find them.
- Your administrative assistant: You probably already met your chair or
coordinator, but do you know who your admin is? Administrative assistants know how to get you into your
courses, your E-mail set up, your password reset, your pay corrected, and in general can solve any problem
under the sun, or knows who to call to get it done. These people are your best ally when problems occur.
To find out who your administrative assistant is, check "Who is my Administrative Assistant" in the FacultyFAQ
- Your chair: The final authority on many of the decisions within your department rests
with your chair. You can find who your chair is in this page
listing the different divisions.
- Your dean: You should know what division you are in, and who your dean is. You may not
have much day-to-day contact with your dean, but they will be the final authority on grade appeals, after you
and the chair. You can find what division your department is part of in this
page listing the different divisions.
- IT Helpdesk: If you need some IT assistance in a pinch, contact the IT Helpdesk at
(303) 340-7539.
- The Cybrarian: Jay
Devaughn manages the CCA library. He can help you find material useful to your classes and help your
students get connected with research sources. He's also happy to get anyone set up with a aurora public
library card. Drop by his office in the LRC, S202-1, or call him. His # is in the directory (below).
- Everyone else: This is by no means an exhaustive list. To find someone by name, see the College Directory.
