This award is to recognize one or more members of the CCA faculty who have made a significant difference for CCA students. This recognition is to be made annually and comes with a $2,500 cash award. (If more than one person is recognized, the $2,500 is shared by all the recipients.)  All regular and part-time (adjunct) CCA faculty members are eligible. The award recipient(s) will be announced each spring.   

The recipient(s) will be asked to participate in one faculty development event during the following school year, and will be asked to serve as the faculty representative(s) on the award selection committee the following year. 

The deadline for nominations was April 1, 2008. 

A selection committee made up of the Executive Director of the CCA Foundation, the CCA Vice President for Instruction, the CCA Vice President for Student Services, and last year's award winner, Dr. Martha Jackson-Carter, will review the nominations to select the recipient for 2008.
