  3. Scholarship Applications will be accepted throughout the year, however priority deadlines for scholarships are set for for December 1 for GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS and FIRST GENERATION SCHOLARSHIPS. After this deadline a scholarship selection committee composed of community members, donors, CCA faculty and staff meet to read and evaluate applications. Scholarship selection takes place once a year (in June) and awards are then allocated for the Fall and Spring semesters.
  4. Once evaluated, CCA Foundation and Financial Aid staff will award students the available scholarships. Many scholarships have specific requirements such as GPA, Number of Credit hours, etc.
  5. CCA Financial Aid and Foundation staff will notify students selected for scholarships via E-mail or letter (please give preferred E-mail for prompt response).
  6. Students must make an appointment to meet with Foundation staff and sign Recipient Agreement. Failure to do so could result in cancellation of the award.

Please Note:

    • Not all Foundation scholarships are alike.
    • Scholarship selection is competitive; each student will be evaluated accordingly.
    • The priority deadline for student scholarship applications is June 1. Occasionally funds become available for various reasons (new scholarships, a student does not fulfill requirements of scholarship, transfers, graduates, etc). In this event, we will be able to award additional students.
    • If a student is not awarded a scholarship initially, or if a student turns in an application after the priority deadline, the application will be kept on file. Should any scholarship become available and a student is selected for the award, the recipient will be notified by e-mail.
    • Letters of recommendations can be mailed to the CCA Foundation office, however if they are received after the respective deadlines, the application will be considered incomplete, and will not be accepted.

Letters of recommendation can be mailed to:

      16000 E. CentreTech Parkway
