elcome to the Community College of Aurora--where learning makes sense. Imagine living and learning close to the beautiful Colorado Rockies at a college that gives you the skills you need to succeed. CCA is a state-sponsored community college offering the first two years of college and university education as well as vocational and technical programs. CCA is approved by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
CCA is conveniently located in Aurora, Colorado, a thriving community east of metropolitan Denver. The college's campus is located 20 minutes from Denver International Airport; major Colorado attractions are just a short drive away. Colorado is home to some of the world's best outdoor activities, including skiing, mountain biking, kayaking and hiking.
Choices
CCA offers Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees for those students who intend to
transfer to a four-year institution.
For those students who don't intend to transfer to a four-year institution, CCA offers Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree programs designed to prepare students for entry-level employment or for upgrading/stabilizing employment. AAS degrees may be obtained in Accounting, Applied Technology, Business, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Profession, Equipment Transportation and Technology, Management and Marketing. Certificates are available in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Professions, General Management, Mediation, Paralegal, Public Service and Real Estate.
Money Matters:
The approximate cost of attending CCA as an
International Student is $10,500 per year PLUS an estimated $9000 in living expenses. See the materials
inside for specific requirements.
Application Deadlines:
The application and approval process can take up
to 6 months for first-time applications and approximately 30 days for transfer applications. The earlier
you apply, the better your chances are for a timely approval. Although CCA suggests early application,
we will not issue an I-20 after the deadlines below:

International Student Orientation Sessions:
New and transfer students must attend one orientation
session. Orientations are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:30am -10:30am
International Student Information
According to Federal Law, the college may enroll
non-immigrant alien students, also referred to as
international (F1) students. To better assist its international student population, CCA has
established the International Student's office which is located in the Advising Center, room A102. The
