COLORADO EMERGING TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CONFERENCE
The Business of Emerging Technologies: Are
We Technically Ready?

The Colorado Emerging Technology Education Conference (CETE) is
designed to provide a forum for a collaborative discussion with
regard to educational training that meets evolving labor market
demands in high technology fields. Community Colleges have
long been able to respond quickly to the ever changing needs of
industry. Through the CETE conferences, we will establish
partnerships that will allow Colorado to emerge as a leader in
workforce development for emerging technologies. The conference
goals include:

Improve
interactions between Workforce Development, Academics and
Government, and Industry

Ensure that Colorado is effectively
training its workforce
-
Understand industry skill sets needed
for the emerging technologies workforce

Expand training to include
interdisciplinary education
The conference will include presentations from distinguished
representatives of academics, government and industry. The
Conference is being held at the Rotunda located in the Student
Center on CCA’s CentreTech campus. Registration for the conference
can be done over the internet at the Conference Website (www.ccaurora.edu/nanotech).
The website also contains additional information on the Conference
and will be updated on a regular basis. Please check the website
