Growing Gap Between Old and New” on Friday as part of CCA's Traveling Scholars Lecture Series. The
event is free and open to the public.

Series of events and interventions at Community
College of Aurora to commemorate the annual Great American Smokeout
CCA will commemorate the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout with a two-day event to
help smokers quit smoking. Events will include presentations of student research posters, smoking
cessation hypnotic interventions, a panel discussion with former smokers, a book discussion, and a
presentation on music, stress, and smoking.

Students in Aurora Public Schools’ Rebound Program
to attend Xcel Energy Foundation Camp at Community College of Aurora
Students from throughout the Aurora Public School district will attend a Nov. 7 Xcel Energy
Foundation Camp at CCA. The students are participants in APS' Rebound program, an alternative
program for expelled students and dropout recovery students, and they will learn firsthand why
attending college can help them achieve success in their lives.
