AURORA, COLO.— The Colorado Film School at the Community College of Aurora has
announced its first-ever Tournées French Film Festival, to be held from March 27 through April 24. The
Festival is made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French
Ministry of Culture (CNC).
The public is invited to attend a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception this Friday, March 27, at the Film
School’s Lowry Campus location. The event is free and open to the public. Seating for the evening’s screening,
“Paris, je t’aime,” is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The reception is from 5:30-6:30 p.m.;
the film begins promptly at 6:30.

Additional film screenings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the School’s state-of-the-art theater, 9075 E Lowry
Blvd., Building 965, Denver, CO 80230, as follows:
April 9: Bamako
April 10: Persepolis
April 16: Rêves de Poussière (Dreams of Dust)
April 17: Le Scaphandre et Le Papillon (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly)
April 23: La Petite Jerusalem (Little Jerusalem)
April 24: La Vie en Rose (Life in Pink or Life is Beautiful)
Those wanting to go deeper into the content of the films have registered for a new CCA offering: a one-credit
French Film class. Taught in English, the course revolves around the movies screened during the Festival. The
movies present different aspects of the Francophone world, and each film will be preceded by an introduction
about the language, culture, and politics presented in it. Each screening will be followed by a discussion.
