Life-saving health screenings available for free or minimal cost
AURORA, COLO.—Community College of Aurora will host the annual 9Health Fair
from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at its CentreTech campus, 16000 E. CentreTech Parkway, Aurora.
Anyone 18 and older can participate in a 9Health Fair. With more than 25 screenings available, 9Health Fair
results, along with an explanation on how to read them, are delivered directly within three to six weeks.
The9Health team of volunteer registered nurses and physicians will contact people within 72 hours of their
9Health Fair visit and, if necessary, provide local follow up resources if results indicate that a critical or
alert health situation is occurring.
Screenings to be offered include blood count, body fat, breast, finger stick glucose, hearing, heart health,
lung functioning, mental health, metabolic syndrome, nutrition, oral health, osteoporosis, pulse oximetry,
rheumatoid arthritis, and skin, as well as the popular “ask a pharmacist” offering.
