AURORA, COLO.—Author and journalist Ethan Casey will visit the Community College of Aurora on Feb. 10 to share firsthand his experiences in Pakistan. The author of Alive and Well in Pakistan (2004), Casey is writing a second book about his time in that country. More information about Casey can be seen at www.aliveandwellinpakistan.com.

While in Aurora, Casey will visit CCA classes, attend a reception, and give a public presentation at the Aurora Public Library.

“Ethan Casey is knowledgeable about world issues, as well as about Pakistan, and he is an engaging speaker,” said CCA Vice President of Instruction Bernice Harris. “His visit to CCA is part of our effort to globalize our curriculum and create a greater awareness of the global community we all live in.”

Casey’s evening presentation at the Aurora Public Library will explore what life is like in a Muslim country on the frontline of the U.S.-declared “war on terror.” The event is free and open to the public and will take place at 7 p.m., Central Library location, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora.

No registration is required.
