Click the Rise/Set Times button. This form is a "Front End" for information from the US Naval Observatory. It defaults to Aurora, Colorado, on today's date. However, you can select other dates (within a few years of today), other US states, and other major US cities. To use for another US city, select the state from the pulldown menu and then type in the exact name of the city. Only major US cities are supported. For smaller US cities, Canadian locations or other world locations, you can visit the US Naval Observatory site here:

When visiting the observatory, please park in the main CCA CentreTech parking lot, and walk to the observatory, which is located near Highline Canal behind the Fine Arts Building on the southwest side of campus. Please also avoid using flashlights unless they have red plastic or cellophane coverings.

Once the observatory is fully operational, there will be a regular schedule of observing nights. Until then, please contact your instructor for information.
