The Community College of Aurora is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday October 28, 2008 at 16000 E. Centretech Parkway in the Student Center. Bonfils Blood Center needs more than 4,000 blood donors each week to meet Colorado’s needs and to be prepared for any unexpected events. It takes just a little time to make a big difference in the lives of patients in our community, with one blood donation saving and enhancing the lives of up to three people – like Trevor. Trevor received a blood transfusion as a newborn while being treated for a heart condition. Thanks to dedicated donors, Trevor is now healthy, active and enjoys playing with his friends and spending time with his family.
