Tracy Mendoza, Lowry One Stop, Denver Colorado

Hi, I’m Tracy Mendoza
I’m the Assistant Registrar at CCA’s Lowry Student Services. You can do so many things at the Lowry Student Services Office, such as apply for admission, see an academic advisor, register for classes, take an assessment test, check on your financial aid, or apply for graduation, just to name a few. One of the things I love about CCA is our diverse student population. I really like helping students achieve their educational goals, as I feel education is the key to a successful life. I have a bachelor’s degree from CSU-Pueblo.

Valerie Sangiuliano, Enrollment Services, Aurora CO

Hi, I’m Valerie Sangiuliano
As Assistant Registrar in Enrollment Services, you’ll meet me when you enroll or when you’re planning your graduation. I enjoy everything about CCA, and I know you will, too. I began my journey with Community College of Aurora as a student. I had high school teachers and counselors who didn’t expect much out of me and college was the last thing I was encouraged to do. I was introduced to CCA and fell in love with education. CCA helped me understand that I was college-ready and the staff and faculty helped me earn an associate degree. Soon after graduation, I was offered employment at the college and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help others as CCA helped me.

Emelda Jones, International Student Advisor, Aurora Colorado

Hi, I’m Emelda Jones
As a native of the Republic of South Africa, my position as CCA’s International/ESL Academic Advisor is particularly rewarding. Part of my daily responsibilities includes assisting prospective students with the I-20 application process and guiding them through the F-1 visa application process. Once the student arrives at Community College of Aurora, we map out a degree plan and keep in constant communication for the duration of the student’s stay at CCA. This constant communication includes helping students ensure that they comply with USCIS (U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services) regulations that pertain to F-1 visa status students.
