Approved by the American Bar Association since 1993 and just reapproved in 2006, CCA’s paralegal studies program offers two associate’s degrees and a paralegal certificate. Convenient evening and weekend classes at the Lowry campus make it easy for working students to attend. Outstanding instructors and challenging courses prepare students for meaningful careers in the legal profession.

A paralegal is a person qualified by education, training or work experience who is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency or other entity and who performs specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible. Paralegals are not authorized to practice law in any way. Any act done by a paralegal that requires a legal license to perform constitutes the unauthorized practice of law unless otherwise authorized by court rules.
