Welcome to the CCA P.O.S.T. Basic Law Enforcement Police Academy website!

Law enforcement is an exciting, and challenging career. There are many law enforcement opportunities within the state of Colorado. Your first step to applying with many of the police and sheriff's departments in the state is to gain your P.O.S.T. certification. Our Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy prepares you to take the Colorado P.O.S.T. certification test, and to be the best you can be in this challenging career field. We are proud to say that we believe we have the best academy and training staff in the state!

Call the Academy Program Assistant, Michelle Doucette, at 303-340-7215, or e-mail her (please include name, address and phone number) by clicking here: Michelle Doucette, for an application packet, and more information on our August 2010 full-time and part-time Academy classes!

Applications for our upcoming August 7, 2010 academies must be received no later than June 4, 2010.

NOTE: As the Academy prepares one to apply for work in the law enforcement arena which requires a high degree of integrity and moral strength, your background must be reasonably *clean.* We want to make sure that you are "hirable" by any agency from the first day of the academy. Therefore we have and maintain high standards for those who attend the academy. It is important that you go to the FAQ page to read about those areas of behavior that could, or will, prevent you from attending the CCA police academy.

We look forward to receiving your application, and helping you get started on an exciting career in law enforcement!
