One of the questions we're asked the most is: "Will these credits transfer?"
CCA’s degree programs and course offerings are designed to be very transferrable. Our Art Appreciation and Art History courses are “Guaranteed Transfer Courses” and recognized by every higher ed institution in the state of Colorado.
Our Art and Design Foundations certificate is designed to transfer to state colleges, universities, and private institutions. We are currently finalizing agreements with Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Denver, University of Northern Colorado, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and others.
In addition, we have designed our AAS Degree options to be as transferrable as possible. Some AAS degree students do not go on to get a Bachelor’s degree. But many do. We don’t want you to have to start over at the next institution! Our goal is to give you a solid foundation, a great portfolio in your chosen area, and as many transferrable courses as possible. We are in dialogue with a number of universities to set up transfer agreements for the AAS degrees, not just the foundations year. They will be listed here when they become official.*
For more information about transfer options, visit CCA's main Transfer Options page.
*All transfer decisions are made by the accepting institution. It is best for each student to speak with an advisor at the transfer institution to confirm the eventual transfer of their credits.
