The College Preparatory ESL Program offers high-quality language classes that help students master English for college, career training programs, and overall language ability.

The Community ESL Program teaches English to adults through a curriculum that is designed to help students learn the language skills they need for work and for day-to-day life in the United States. The classes cover speaking, listening, reading and writing, along with the necessary vocabulary and grammar. Classwork includes practice with real-life experiences such as filling out forms, reading labels, and finding jobs. There are also free basic computer classes for enrolled students. A new economic impact study released May 8 revealed that the Community College of Aurora’s annual financial impact in its service community amounted to $187.487 million.
Xeturah Woodley has been named Vice President of Instruction at the Community College of Aurora after more than a one-year search, school president Dr. Linda S. Bowman announced Thursday. Woodley will take over the position beginning April 2.
