Hear testimonials from Nursing Pathway students

Community College of Aurora (CCA) and the University of Colorado College of Nursing (CON) offer a unique, integrated pathway to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The Integrated Nursing Pathway program provides outstanding preparation for professional nursing practice. Designed to increase access for community college students to a bachelor's degree in nursing, it emphasizes the value of a diverse student population as a way of achieving excellence in practice. The diversity of our nursing students will help to prepare them to better serve the patient populations they reflect.

Potential students must have completed program prerequisites (or be in progress), have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and meet admission requirements. The thirty students accepted to the cohort-based program take the first two semesters at CCA. Those credits along with the prerequisite credits provide students with an Associate's Degree in General Studies. After graduation at CCA, the students transition to CON to complete coursework in semesters three through eight. As nursing students, they will learn, study, and support each other throughout the program as a cohort. Expert faculty and staff will be available to offer ongoing support and provide the best learning opportunities for successful completion. Students will receive nursing instruction at the new, state-of-the-art University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, which will allow them to reach their highest potential.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications for the fall program start will be available online from March 1-May 1 each year.
