Political Science Activities

Constitution Day
An annual celebration of the United States Constitution, held every September on CCA's campus.  Celebrations include guest speakers, "Constitution Bowl," which pits teams of students against one another as they try to answer questions from the US Citizenship test, and other activities.

Election Night Coverage

Andrew Romanoff- Former Speaker of the Colorado House, Andrew Romanoff served as a visiting scholar for Spring 2009 semester at CCA.  He is the first Democrat to win the post of Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives since 1975.  Representative Romanoff was elected to the House in 2000 and reelected in 2002, 2004, and 2006.  He represented House District 6, covering east Denver and Glendale.
