INTRODUCTION TO ARCHAEOLOGY

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Study past human cultural behavior and life. Study the methodology of excavations, analysis, and the preservation of cultural and behavioral artifacts.

HYBRID DESCRIPTION:

Hybrid courses offer the convenience of an Internet course with the opportunity to meet face to face with the instructor and classmates.  Although all of the work can be done through the internet, scheduled meeting times will be published for each course. 

There will be an independent study required of each student.

REQUIRED MEETING DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATION:

This is a field trip class to Utah.

Students are required to attend a pre-trip orientation – Saturday, August 29, 2009

9:00 – 11:00 AM   C-212 (Centretech campus)

The field trip is September 4 – 6, 2009
