COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
Focuses on basic knowledge of body structures and function, and provides a foundation for understanding deviations from normal and disease conditions. This course is designed for individuals interested in health care and is directly applicable to the Practical Nursing Program, Paramedic Program, the Medical Office Technology Program. Serves as a prerequisite for BIO 201 – Human Anatomy & Physiology I. |

HYBRID DESCRIPTION: |
|
Hybrid courses offer the convenience of an Internet course with the opportunity to meet face to face with the instructor and classmates. Although all of the work can be done through the internet, scheduled meeting times will be published for each course. There may be mandatory onsite meetings for some courses to take midterm or final examinations. |
