COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
COURSE DESCRIPTION 118: This course introduces computer concepts and components as well as coverage of application suite software and the Internet. Included are descriptions of and hand-on experiences with word processors, spreadsheets, databases, operating environments and other common PC applications packages.
COURSE DESCRIPTION 161: This course will introduce the development of presentation graphics materials including graphs, charts, illustrations, and diagrams. Emphasis will be on effective communication. |

HYBRID DESCRIPTION: |
|
Hybrid courses offer the convenience of an Internet course with the opportunity to meet face to face with the instructor and classmates. Although all of the work can be done through the internet, scheduled meeting times will be published for each course. There may be mandatory onsite meetings for some courses to take midterm or final examinations. |
