COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
Provides students with an introduction to microcomputer technology as it pertains to IBM-compatible personal computers. |

HYBRID DESCRIPTION: |
|
Hybrid courses offer the convenience of an Internet course with the opportunity to meet face to face with the instructor and classmates. Although all of the work can be done through the internet, scheduled meeting times will be published for each course. There may be mandatory onsite meetings for some courses to take midterm or final examinations. |

This course requires that you have access to a working PC that can be taken apart and reassembled. This will be provided within the classroom. Also, a working PC with Windows XP Professional will be needed and is provided in class. It is not recommended that you work on your home computer the labs or assignments that deal with disassembly of the computer. |
