COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
Legal Environment of Business is an introductory survey course for the study of the legal system and the laws governing activities of business. After taking this course, the student will have a good working knowledge of many of the legal principles and regulations that govern business activities. The course is designed for the businessperson who needs a rudimentary knowledge of the legal system and the laws that affect business transactions. This course includes the study of the following topics: foundations of the legal system; business wrongs (torts) and crimes, regulatory principles, employment and agency law and basic property concepts. |
