COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
An introductory course designed to facilitate an understanding of spatial relationships between and among the geographic regions of the world. Included are demographic and cultural forces related to the physical environments of selected regions. Methods of study include analysis of and interrelationships between developed and developing regions. Special emphasis will be placed upon the historical antecedents of the current global scene and issues of the day. The positive and negative implications of global interdependence among countries and regions will be the unifying theme of the course. | |

You will not be able to login to the course until the first day of class. Before class begins, please complete the browser tune-up and. review the orientation guide. Complete the “Getting Started “assignment by the first Friday of the term (6/6/2008). Once you are able to login, please review the syllabus, announcements, schedule and the “Getting Started” file. | |
