COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

Focuses on the operation of the American business system.  Covers fundamentals of the economy, careers and opportunities, marketing, management, production, governmental regulations, tools of business and social responsibilities.

Prerequisites: You must have the ability use an internet web browser, and to send and receive e-mails with attachments.

It is required that students have that software instead of the minimum requirements listed below.

HOW TO GET STARTED:

 

Start reading chapters

1 thru 5.  By conclusion of the first week of class, obtain textbook and read chapters 1 and 2

E-mail instructor with:

Your name, e-mail address, daytime and evening phone numbers, preferred time for phone interviews, mailing address, computer system hardware and software types, modem speed, three interesting things about yourself, or business industries of interest

 

ORIENTATION SESSION/FIRST MEETING:
