COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
This course examines the developmental stages of humans from conception to death. We will study the affective, cognitive, and psycho-social developments of humans in the following stages: infancy; early childhood, middle and late childhood; adolescents; early adulthood; middle adulthood; late adulthood; death. Emphasis is placed on understanding of self and others. | |

HOW TO GET STARTED: |
|
When entering the course shell for the first time, notice the various introductory links. Try all of them immediately to be sure your computer works with the website. If you have ANY problems, call the listed helpline number as soon as possible. That phone number in on the course website, introductory page. | |

ORIENTATION SESSION/FIRST MEETING: |
|
There is no orientation but note that an introduction is required as a first time, non graded assignment. This course requires heavy reading and paper writing. Especially during the summer, you need to allow for adequate time to complete all of the course work. | |

All work MUST be submitted in a format that can be read by MS Word. All assignments should be sent as an attachment in the ASSIGNMENT MODULE OF THE WEBSITE. Do not send assignments as an email attachment. | |
