WORLD REGIONAL GEOGRAPHY

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

An introductory course designed to facilitate an understanding of spatial relationships between and among the geographic regions of the world.  Included are demographic and cultural forces related to the physical environments of selected regions.  Methods of study include analysis of and interrelationships between developed and developing regions.  Special emphasis will be placed upon the historical antecedents of the current global scene and issues of the day.  The positive and negative implications of global interdependence among countries and regions will be the unifying theme of the course.

HOW TO GET STARTED:

 

1.     . Run the Browser Tune-up- it will help to make sure that your hardware/software combination is compatible with  WebCT Vista

2.     After logging into the course, click on the link that says “Start Here”

3.     Take the time to navigate through the course web, review the pages, click on the links.

4.     Under “ Discussions” you will find a Welcome Assignment. Please click on this assignment and be aware of the due date. Should you enter the class late, please do not hesitate to submit this assignment as all students should participate in the Welcome Assignment.
