COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course examines the cultures of the 17^th through 21st centuries by focusing on the interrelationships of the arts, ideas, and history.  Students will consider the influences of industrialism, scientific development and non-European peoples.

There are NO prerequisites for this course – you do not need to have taken Hum I or Hum II to take this course.  The Humanities courses, like many liberal arts courses, are divided by time periods, not by difficulty as in the sciences.  This class covers a modern time, somewhat equivalent to Western Civ II.

When you log into BBVista (Or Desire2Learn) there are initial steps to take, including approving the Java certificate, disabling your pop-up blocker, and running a browser check. Please do this before you even log into your courses.
