COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
|
This course furthers the study of fractions and mixed numbers. Also included are vocabulary, operations and applications of ratio, proportion, percent, area, perimeter, US and metric measures, integers, and an introduction to algebraic expressions and the solution of basic first-degree equations.

HOW TO GET STARTED: |

Go to Blackboard Vista and read the Welcome Letter. This letter will tell you everything you need to do to get started in the course. Please realize that this class is basically an independent study course. You are to read the textbook and work through the examples to learn the material. I will be available to answer questions or clarify ideas. There are deadlines for each assignment; this is not a self-paced class. |
