Prepare for the Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra sections of the Accuplacer Assessment by:

• Attending a free two-hour Accuplacer Workshop
• Reviewing the written Study Guides
• Watching the Online Math Pre-Assessment Workshop Video.

Accuplacer Workshops

Attend a FREE two hour workshop that will provide a review for the Accuplacer. There is an ARITHMETIC workshop as well as an ELEMENTARY ALGEBRA workshop. Look at the information below to determine if one or both workshops are appropriate for you.

Registration is not required. All sessions are located in the Classroom Building at the CentreTech campus,16000 E. CentreTech Parkway, Aurora, CO 80011.

Please arrive early to sign in as the SESSIONS WILL BEGIN ON TIME. The presenter will not have time to go back and review information for late attendees. Students will not be admitted if they are more than 15 minutes late to the session.

ARITHMETIC - This is the workshop for you if you need to brush up on your basic number skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages. Variables (like x and y) will not be covered. 

Elementary Algebra - This workshop is for you if, at some point, you've taken algebra and if your basic arithmetic is solid. This workshop will cover working with variables (like x and y), simplifying expressions, solving equations, graphing with x and y, etc. (Please attend the Arithmetic workshop first if you want to brush up on your numbers.)
