The Testing Center provides a variety of testing services for CCA students and the community, including:

CCA Students -- proctoring exams for students who need to take a make-up test, students taking Internet courses, providing accommodations for students with disabilities, and assessment (placement) tests for new students entering the college.

Buckley Airforce Base -- CLEP and DSST (DSST (DANTES)) examinations are available at Buckley for active duty members, their spouses and DOD/Civilians. Registration is online. See the Buckley section under  CLEP and DSST (DANTES) for details.  

Other College/University Students --  The testing center will also proctor exams for another college, university or institution for a $25.00 fee for a three hour block.  CCA is a member of NCTA and adheres to their standards, including fairness, integrity and ethics.  For further information, see their website at http://www.ncta-testing.org/.

Testing Services -- The testing center also provides CLEP, DSST (DANTES), and Pre-GED testing, on-line course testing, and on-site proctoring for several testing organizations.

Test Procedures:   

1. A photo ID is required (Driver's License, Military I.D., Student I.D., etc.)
2. Testing must begin at least one hour before closing.
3. If the test is not finished before the Testing Center closes, the instructor's permission is needed to continue at a later time.
4. All belongings* not allowed for use on the test are required to be placed in a locker. The student will hold onto the key to the lock while they are taking the exam.
   *This includes purses, cell phones, pagers, coats, as well as school materials.
5. No electronic devices of any kind are allowed in the testing center.
6. Food or drink is not allowed in any testing rooms.
7. Children are not allowed in the Testing Room at any time.
8. Incidents of suspected cheating will be reported to the instructor, Learning Resource Center Director and Division Chair.

Testing must begin one hour before closing. Currently, the testing center is on extended hours. The testing center hours are

Monday through Thursday       8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday and Saturday                 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Testing hours will vary when classes are not in session, during spring break, holidays, between semesters, and other special circumstances. At these times, testing is by appointment only. Please contact the Testing Center at 303-340-7542 to schedule an appointment.
