CCA offers some workshops every semester - free mini-classes on a variety of problem-topics from math, English, research, and study skills. Some instructors offer extra credit for attendance at workshops. The semester schedule for these topical workshops is below.
- The Math Pre-Assessment Workshops are designed to update students on math and algebra skills before they take the Accuplacer assessment that places them into their first math class. View the Math Workshop schedule. This site also has an online workshop you can access at any time!
- The Reading and English Pre-Assessment Workshops provide students with a preview of what will be covered in the Accuplacer Reading and Sentence Skills placement test. English & Reading Workshop schedule
