EBSCO Academic Search Premier

A multidisciplinary database with full-text articles. You can find scholarly articles by checking the box to the left of the option, "Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals". Academic Search Premier contains many major peer-reviewed journals in Astronomy, including: Astronomy, Astronomy and Astrophysics Review,  Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, Astrophysics, and many others. 

EBSCO Science Reference Center

 Science Reference Center™ is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-oriented content. Science Reference Center contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, and other sources. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife

Identifying Books in the library catalog

To find items on a specific aspect of Astronomy topics, do a Word search for Astronomy and keywords related to your topic. For example:

Web Sites

Astroweb
Maintained by the AstroWeb Consortium, it is a collection of pointers to web resources. Site is based on data shared by all the contributing sites and is part of the CDS yellow-page services. 

Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Jointly operated by NASA and the Carnegie Institute of Technology, JPL’s web site has news, science and resources, images, and a lot more. Includes such resources as the Planetary Photojournal where you can view images of planets in thumbnail size and download the TIFF or JPEG versions for fuller resolution. The Planet Quest page has an archive of the March 19, 2004 webcast of the Transit of Venus event.
