FRE 275 Special Topics: French Film Series
1 Credit hour 15 Contact hours
The course will provide students with a vehicle for in depth exploration of France and the French culture, history and politics in both a national and global context.
Course notes: Taught in English. No previous knowledge of French is required. Students must attend three showings, at least. Each showing will be preceded by an introduction to the language, social and cultural aspects of the film. Some type of thoughtful discussion or activity will follow.
