Prepare for Your GED at CCA

HSE/GED classes begin on January 18 and end on March 26.

New students only register In-Person at our Lowry Campus at one of these dates and times:

  • Wednesday, January 5 at 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 6 at 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, January 8 at 12 p.m.
  • Monday, January 10 at 9 a.m.
  • Tuesday, January 11 at 6 p.m.

  • Masks are required.
  • Late arrivals will not be accepted.
  • Credit Card Payment at time of registration required.
  • Only student who is registering allowed. No children allowed.
  • Due to COVID-19 restrictions only 20 students seated for each registration session on a first-come first-served basis. After 20 students are seated, you will be asked to attend another session.
  • Limited financial support available - the application must be requested, completed and approved.
  • Must be 17 years old or older

In-Person and Online Classes 

The Community College of Aurora is excited to bring you HSE/GED preparation classes online and in person. Each session will run for 10 weeks.

In-Person Classes

In-person classes will be hosted at the Community College of Aurora, Lowry campus at 9202 E Severn Place, Denver, CO 80230

(COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place. Space is limited.)

Monday and Wednesday

Math and Science: 9 a.m. or 6 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday:

Language Arts and Social Studies: 9 a.m. or 6 p.m.

Online Classes

For 2.5 hours each week, you will attend online classes and interact with our highly qualified instructors and other students to learn the material you need to take your HSE test. In addition, classes are recorded so you can review the teacher's instruction. Homework and additional materials are also provided online. If you need additional support, your teacher will be available for online support during designated office hours.

Monday and Wednesday

Tuesday and Thursday

Math and Science:  6 p.m.
