Alternative Credit Project

ACE Alternative Credit Project

Credit to Kickstart Your CCA Program

If you have stopped out of college, the Alternative Credit Project (ACP) provides a pool of online courses that Community College of Aurora will accept towards your degree. A national program of the American Council on Education, supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACP is designed to help adults finish what they started—a two- or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.

Even if you’re not ready to apply yet, CCA is here to help. We have admissions counselors, financial aid advisors, and academic advisors who specialize in helping students who have started careers or families to come back to school and finish their education. At CCA we want to see your potential realized.

Believe in yourself

“After coming home from an out-of-state university after only a few months, I was still desperate to continue my education but had no idea what I wanted to do. I came to CCA disheartened and confused… I’m now pursuing a career in teaching. I still worry sometimes, but I believe the support I receive from my wonderful family and from CCA can give me the world and then some.” – Ellen Sandlian
