The Community College of Aurora is excited to award scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) made possible through a grant from the National Science Foundation. Scholarships are designed to support students pursuing STEM related degrees at CCA. At least 12 scholarships will be awarded per academic year up to $2500 per semester ($5000 per year maximum).
The application period opens in the Spring of each semester, and the deadline is April 30th of each year. Applications can be picked up in the Science department or Dean's Office Suite, both located on the second floor of West Quad at the Lowry Campus.

General (pursuing an engineering focus)
Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics
Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, IT Tech & Support, Networking and Security, Technology for Business Operations, Web Design & Development
Cumulative GPA > 3.0
Enrollment in 12+ credits for fall and spring
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Submission of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to the Community College of Aurora
-Receive scholarship dollars per year for up to 2 years
-Be paired with a mentor
-Meet with an Achievement Coach regularly
-Meet with an Advisor regularly
-Discuss industry opportunities and trends
-Discuss academic and professional goals
-Develop a STEM academic plan
-Attend STEM related workshops and site visits to industry partners/colleges
