Metamorphoses Introduction
This Tony Award-winning play by Mary Zimmerman is a magical journey into Ovid’s world of transformation and enchantment. In breathtaking images, the characters experience love and loss, joy and pain, freeze and transform, as they discover the inevitable consequences of their own actions. This modernized adaptation of Ovid’s Metamorphoses takes place in a pool that will be built in the Larry D. Carter Theater.
