Translation & Interpretation Spanish Assessment

Learn how to take the Translation & Interpretation Spanish Assessment! 

If you answered "yes," to the questions above, you are eligible to take the Translation & Interpretation Entrance Assessment. 


Schedule your Appointment 

Appointments can be scheduled at the Testing Center's scheduling webpage. Select Translation & Interpretation Test (TRI) and complete all fields to make your appointment. You have the option to take this test on our CentreTech campus, Lowry campus, or off-campus through WebEx.


Requirements for Testing at Home 

  • A computer with a webcam, this can be a desktop or laptop. 
  • Internet access
  • A valid government issued photo ID or college ID
  • An isolated room 

Smart phones, iPads, and tablets cannot be used to take this test remotely.

Additional instructions will be sent to your email, after you schedule your appointment. The testing session is hosted through WebEx.


Cost

The test costs $5 per attempt.  

Students will pay the non-refundable test fee when they make their appointment on Register Blast. A credit card is required to make the online payment. If you are unable to pay with a credit card, please contact the Testing Center by emailing Testing@CCAurora.edu


Retest Policy

Students can re-test after 6-months. 


Format of Test

This test will be administered virtually through your computer at home. A computer with a webcam and internet connection is required.

Time Limit

2 hours 

Total Questions

There are 2 essay questions.


Results 

Test results will be emailed within 1-2 weeks after completion of the test.
