Fall Classes: The majority of fall 2020 classes will be offered online/remote. Learn more about the fall 2020 semester.
Orientation marks your entrance to the CCA community and will introduce you to our campus and the services we provide. CCA has a few different Orientations to fit your specific needs:
New Student Orientation is required for new first-time students (students who have not attended college after high school graduation). Transfer, Readmit, and Guests students are encouraged to attend a New Student Orientation if they are new to CCA or returning after being away for more than one year, but they are not required to attend.
As we move into virtual learning and engagement space for the remainder of the spring semester and continuing into the summer semester, we have moved to an Online Orientation program.
Please note- you must be currently enrolled in classes or previously enrolled in classes to request access to online orientation. If you still need to sign up for classes, email Advising@ccaurora.edu to set up an appointment with your Pathway Advisor.
To get access to the orientation, please submit this form: Online Orientation Request Form.
On-campus programs have been canceled due to social distancing recommendations. Please submit the request form above to complete your orientation requirement.
Transfer students or students who have previously attended college within the last year are not required to complete orientation. If you are a transfer student or readmitted student who has an orientation hold on you account, submit the Exemption Form and then email your unofficial transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive an email if your exemption is approved.
Concurrent Enrollment Orientation is MANDATORY for current high school students taking Concurrent Enrollment (college classes) on CCA's campus.
Students enrolling in only ESL courses are not required to attend Orientation as your ESL courses offer Orientation as part of the first week of classes. ESL students must take the LOEP exam prior to seeing an Academic Advisor to get registered for classes and to have their orientation hold removed. Make sure to tell the Admissions staff checking you in to see an Academic Advisor that you are an ESL student.
Continuing students do not need to take Orientation. For additional information regarding Orientation email email@example.com
Note: If you need an accommodation due to a disability, contact the Office of Disability and Equity (ODE) at 303-361-7395 V/TDD/VP or ODE@CCAurora.edu. Please allow two weeks advance notice to allow us sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements; however, the ODE will do its best to respond to last-minute requests.
